Sara serves as Outreach Support for the German astronauts at ESA’s European Astronaut Centre (EAC) in Cologne. Her tasks include coordinating the PR activities of ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst, supporting the communication efforts of all German astronauts and members of the reserve as well as providing general support to EAC.
Previously, she managed DLR’s English social media channels, created bilingual content for Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and contributed to the DLR web portal through translation, editing, and content management. In her free time, Sara enjoys baking, creative writing and spending time with her dog, Teddy.
