Sarah joined the Leiden office as Editor in 2019. Since then she has been working on several projects, including communications for the Copernicus Climate Change and Atmospheric Monitoring Services implemented by ECMWF, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), ESA and COSPAR. Before joining EJR-Quartz, Sarah did communications and outreach traineeships at the European Southern Observatory (ESO) and in the ATLAS Experiment at CERN. Prior to that she worked in public engagement and education at museums and planetariums in the U.S. She has a degree in Anthropology and Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MSc in Science Communication from Imperial College London.
