Sean is editorial consultant for the European Space Agency’s web portal team, based at ESTEC, in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. He mainly covers the news for ESA’s Technology activities.
A previous EJR-Quartz stint saw him report for ESA’s Earth Observation portal, follow the launch of Envisat and experience weightlessness on a parabolic flight. Prior to returning to EJR-Quartz, Sean edited Flipside magazine, a glossy monthly distributed to all British secondary schools, for which he received a nomination for Youth Editor of 2009 from the British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME). Holding a degree in English and Modern History and a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism, Sean has also contributed to Guinness World Records, BBC Focus and BBC Sky at Night magazines.
